When it’s time to test the moisture content level in hard wood, soft wood, drywall, masonry, and other building materials to determine susceptibility to mold growth, users rely on the Ryobi E49MM01 digital pinless moisture meter. This moisture meter has no pins, so it must be placed against a flat surface in order to detect moisture content up to 1/2" beneath the surface. This pinless meter has an operational temperature range of 32° to 104° F and reports on moisture levels ranging from a minimum of 5% to a maximum of 30%. An LCD display provides the reading in easily understandable percentages, and users are able to store a reading to review later. This .5 lb handheld moisture meter runs on a single 9-volt battery.
