Cupcakes
Surprise Inside Candy Corn Cupcakes
We found this idea for a sweet surprise on CountryLiving.com. While step-by-step instructions were not provided, this recipe is as easy as baking a batch of your favorite cupcakes, cutting off the top and carving out a cone-shaped hole in the middle. Fill the hole with colored frosting or whipped topping to make an inverted candy corn design. When all three layers of filling have been added, return the cupcake top and frost as usual. These gooey candy corn middles are a tasty surprise that will make everyone smile!
Blackout Chocolate Cupcakes
These blackout cupcakes got a lot of attention on our Facebook page earlier this month. Click here to get the full recipe from Kara's Couture Cakes.
Cookies
Surprise Sugar Cookie Stacks
This recipe for surprise sugar cookie stacks may seem daunting, but starting with Pillsbury sugar cookie dough is a great tip to make the process a little quicker and easier. Click here and be sure to scroll down past the other blog links to find this sweet little recipe!
Gooey Monster Eye Cookies
If you're serving your treats to little ghouls and boils, be sure to make something that will really make them shriek! These gooey monster eyeball cookies are sure to do the trick. This recipe from Lil' Luna calls for a boxed cake mix to make the process easier for you. Don't forget the candy eyeballs!
Bars
Pumpkin Spice Caramel Rice Krispies
We LOVE a good rice krispies treat recipe, and this unique take on an old classic from Coco and Ash definitely falls into that camp! Pumpkin spice and caramel elevate everyone's favorite crunchy, gooey treat and make these bars perfect for fall parties. See the whole tutorial (with pictures) here.
Ghostly Peeps Brownie S’mores
These spooky s'mores bars might be the recipe we're most excited about. The graham cracker crust calls for wholesome oats, and the Peeps ghosts on top are too adorable to pass up! Click here to check out the recipe (and even more wonderful photos!) from Bake at 350.
